Common causes in grassroot development: a case for community-based and community-driven response in the postpandemic era

Purpose The purpose of this study is to determine the impact community-based and driven approaches during lockdowns early periods pandemic. examines perceptions state-led intervention. This would help discover a better approach for postpandemic interventions policy responses. Design/methodology/approach article used inductive method gathered its data from surveys. In search global opinions on COVID-19 responses received in communities, two countries each continent with high infection per 100,000 peak period were chosen study. total, 13 community workers, leaders members sampled. simple percentile was analysis. interpretation discuss results. Findings showed that poor publicity affected awareness fame as most mistaken government interventions. found respondents preferred state but many communities or local assessments projects while ongoing adjust project intervention they progressed. However, Research limitations/implications State secrecy perceived opposition oppression limited sourcing where are performed secret voices collection some countries. Thus, last-minute changes made gather same continent.
